Princess Lisa
This is one of my kids favorite babysitters. We hate to see her go off to school. Even if she did almost burn our house down, and my kids are crazy around her, we are going to miss her and her funny stories.

Here you go Princess :)

**Session fee is $50 for one child, $10 per extra child. Session fee is due upon booking to hold your appointment.**

Deidrea & Casey

This cute couple is getting married this fall. I did her beautiful sisters wedding in December and have fallen in love with this family. They are so sweet, so beautiful and just a pleasure to work with.

Of course getting Casey to behave was a challenge :) Our first few shots he got distracted with a pair of tennis shoes that were hanging in the tree above us . . .

And we had a tough time teaching him how to "dip" her. I told him to practice because we will be expecting him to do better at the wedding. So get busy Casey!

Here are some of my favorites guys, and the rest will be finished soon.

Gabriel - Angleton Senior

Gabriel came in for his session today. His only request was "something different than everyone elses". Well since we've had more girls than guys this year, that wasn't too hard to do. It was fun using walls and poses I hadn't tried before.

So Gabriel, let me know what you think of these.

Krystal's Studio Session

I love when seniors schedule an Outdoor AND a Studio session as it's two different styles. Here's some of my fave's. Can you tell I love close ups of her?

Krystal's Urban Expedition

We had the BEST time yesterday at Krystal's Urban Expedition. We literally shot until it was too dark to. I told her I've had some great sessions, but hers will be tough to beat. At one point we ran into some people visiting the US from London, and they really thought she was a model and they kept getting in the shots! And wanted their picture taken with her too! We laughed about that :)

So here are several favorites of mine, and boy did i have a tough time narrowing it down to these! And yes the rainbow was really there, that is NOT a photoshop trick....

New Sports Composite Contest

I've come up with this cool new product for all you athletes, but I need some help. So I'm running two contest thru March 31.

1. I'm looking for a model from each sport. If you are a JUNIOR, and are an athlete - any sport - I will choose one girl and one guy from each sport to model for me and you will receive a FREE composite like the one below to show your teammates. To enter, email your name and contact info, along with a photo of you and a list of all the activities you are involved in to info@donnaquarles.com.

2. I need a cool name for this design. I've heard Sportilicious, but they didn't think the guys would go for that :) So send me your ideas for a "Name" for this layout. The winner gets a free mini-modeling session and free composite. Email your ideas to info@donnaquarles.com.

Amy

Amy came in today for her studio session. We're going on an Urban Expedition in a couple of weeks, but her studio session was so fun I can't wait for the outdoor part. This first shot is for her brother at Georgia Tech. That's his Bowl jersey she's wearing and an autographed pic of him she's holding. Hope he likes it Amy!

Meet Melissa

Melissa is a senior at Angleton this year. She's another soccer player so I'm posting a shot with her soccer ball. I love when athletes come in a bring their equipment and uniforms.

So here's your sneak peek Melissa, enjoy!

We want to remind everyone that if you want an appointment for senior portraits, you need to call and get a date reserved. March is booked up for outdoors sessions, and we have a few spots left for studio sessions. In April, we will be booking dates by locations. If you want a beach session, you may have to go with 2 other seniors. Varner Hogg, the same thing. And remember, if you book with a friend, same place-same day, you each get a $50 discount.

So call today to reserve your appointment, 979.848.8400. To guarantee your invitations and orders by May 15, you need to have your session taken by April 30.

Sad Day

Most of my clients know that my mother-in-law has been battling brain cancer for over two years now. Today (well yesterday now) the battle is over. She passed away Saturday morning at her home. I will be out of the studio for a few days, so we will have to reschedule some of you and I apologize, but it can not be helped. And some of you are waiting for online albums, please be patient and give me a few more days.

Jessica will be at the studio for order pickups and any questions, and to keep that end of the studio flowing.

So I covet your prayers for our family right now and I appreciate your patience thru this time.

Christen - Again

Wow! Do they get any cuter than this?? This is the first time I've seen the Super-Curly-Headed-Christen with her hair straight. It is gorgeous girl! Thanks for doing this for me. I can't wait to debut a new product I'm working on right now, and I need a few more shots of Christen to complete it. I think all you seniors are going to LOVE it! Stayed tuned to find out what it is.....

Congratulations Ben & Jennie!

These guys are getting married next week! They are new to the Houston area and were such a fun couple. I don't normally Preview this many shots on my blog, but we made an exception.

Here are some of the more traditional ones that we talked about for your announcement:

Then of course some of my favorites. I don't know why no one ever puts fun, cool shots like this in the newspaper :)
And finally a "friend" we met on the beach that day . . . .
I hope you guys have a great destination wedding and a wonderful life! Hopefully I'll see you in the future!
